Ephesians 6:16 says, “taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

The shield of faith protects us from the fiery darts of the enemy. It helps the Christian soldier move forward with a sense of confidence in God’s ability.

Ephesians 6:14-15 says, “Stand firm therefore...having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”

What do your shoes look like? Are they comfortable, worn favorites that can go a long way? If so, put them on as quickly as possible, and go to share the Gospel with everyone who needs this good news of peace—and that’s all of us!

Ephesians 6:17 says, “...and take the helmet of salvation…”

Ephesians 6:14 says, “Stand firm therefore...having put on the breastplate of righteousness…”

God’s breastplate of righteousness stands for integrity. You need to mean what you say and say what you mean. Stay true to what you have said.
