Take Up the Shield of Faith...Seriously!

Ephesians 6:16 says, “taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

The shield of faith protects us from the fiery darts of the enemy. It helps the Christian soldier move forward with a sense of confidence in God’s ability.

The importance of taking up the shield of faith is key, here. As believers, we must pick up our belief that what we hope for will come to pass.

We believe that, one day, we will be perfect and will live with Christ forever! We believe He is coming back to get us. And we believe that He has overcome the world. Therefore, through Him, we can live each day with peace and joy in our hearts.

The cross of Jesus goes on before us, and the truth of the resurrection gives life to our very souls.

So soldiers of the King of Kings—take up your shield of faith. We know that what we ultimately hope for is yet to be seen!
