Put on the Helmet of Salvation...Seriously!

Ephesians 6:17 says, “...and take the helmet of salvation…”

Does your mind wander? Are you worried? How can you quit thinking unbidden thoughts? Think on this scripture teaching—what is true or “real”?

God only asks you to do what He is asking of you right now! You can’t go back and you don’t know what’s to come, but you can trust God for all of that. What if something bad does happen in the future? You will spend all your energy worrying if you worry, and that will make it harder to handle the bad circumstance when it comes. Besides, it probably won’t have occurred to you to worry about what does happen, and you just wasted time.

Let Him save you the time and effort — put on the Helmet of Salvation; which saves you from sin and self — both when you are initially born again and then every time you put it on thereafter.

Pick it up and put it on right now! Deliverance, salvation starts with a new mind-set!
