No Worries!

In Matthew 6:34, Jesus said, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

It seems like there is trouble at every turn in today’s world. Violence, immoral behavior, abuse, murders, and wars are on every hand. Stress and worry seem to be the norm.

Jesus calms storms. Jesus walks on top of them. He saves from the fiery furnace. He stays with you even if things don’t turn out the way you want.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had it right when instead of worrying about what would happen next in Daniel 3:16b-18, they told King Nebuchadnezzar “we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

They had troubles, but no worries. God was in charge of them no matter what, and they knew it! So why worry. He’s got us covered!
