Too Fantastic for Words

Psalm 23:6a says, “and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

What fabulous news! Praise God! We will live with Him forever!

Jesus assures us in John 14:2-3, “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Scripture teaches that these ‘many rooms’ are places Jesus prepares just for us. I am certain they are beautiful. I have often thought that mine has a rocking chair, and it is a beautiful shade of purple.

You see, I have three babies who went ahead of me, and I plan to rock them there. As you probably already guessed, purple is my favorite color. I bet its hue is fabulous in heaven.
