Thankful Encouragement

Philippians 1:3 says, “I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you.”

The renowned theologian, Dr. W.A. Criswell, often wrote these words when he autographed a study Bible. Paul originally penned them with the Holy Spirit’s inspiration. Isn’t that amazing?

Wouldn’t it be wonderful for people to say they thank God when memories of you come to mind? Wouldn’t it be encouraging if people actually thanked God when they have the opportunity to spend time with you?

Even more so, wouldn’t it be encouraging to others if we thanked God for them every time we thought of them? What a privilege it is to share with others when we pray for them!

Let’s encourage someone today. Who comes to your mind first? Tell them what remembrances you have of them and specifically, how you thank God for the blessing they are in your life.

And there you go!
