God Never Forgets About You!

Isaiah 49:16 says, "Behold, I have engraved you on the palm of my hands; your walls are continually before me."

Once God makes you His, He’s got you! Imagine yourself being branded or etched in His palm.

Whether you like this illustration or not, it’s somewhat similar to having a tattoo, in my mind. Now you're probably thinking, "What's that you say, Valerie?"

Think of it. A tattoo is a pretty permanent thing. If it’s on your arm, your hand, your ankle, or wherever it is - there it stays. You read its words or see its meaning, and remember why it’s there.

A tattoo might eventually wear off, but the engraving on God's hands of you and me will never come off. He looks at it all the time. He remembers to care for us constantly, and He loves us beyond measure. We are permanently part of Him if we have accepted His Son.

Ponder this thought! Nothing can snatch you from being engraved on His hand. And there you go!
