God Never Fails

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Do you believe this? Do I believe this? Whether we do or not, it’s true. We have no reason to be afraid or dismayed.

When I keep my granddaughter, Adali, she delights in that fact that I am just with her. She’s glad to see me, and she totally trusts that I will take care of her. I love the fact that she knows I love her and would only act for good on her behalf if at all possible.

But, alas, though I don’t even want to do so, I will fail her somewhere. But God will never fail her. He will be with her wherever she goes, and He will be with you and me. Let’s hand Him our fears and our disappointment today. He is for us, and He is with us wherever we go! Thank Him for His promise all day today!
