Far Above...Seriously!

Ephesians 1:21 tells us that He is “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”

Have you ever been to a place of despair? Maybe you lost a loved one? Maybe a dream died? Perhaps you have been in an on-going situation that seems unresolvable?

I’ve been there personally. This verse reminds me that our Jesus, our Savior is far above anything—including our thoughts and our deadly enemy Satan, and because of this, I can give God my feelings of abandonment, aloneness, and yes - even despair. He is bigger than them all. And He will deliver us!

Only He can lift us from the miry pit, and if we are honest we’ve all needed a rope to lift us out. So look up—Salvation is very near!
