Beautiful Feet?

Romans 10:15 says, And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Now, I don’t know about you, but are feet really beautiful?

My granddaughter, Adali, has beautiful chubby baby feet! I’m sure you’d think so, too. And I’ve seen women with long lean feet that are truly lovely. But I’m not sure I’d call most feet…beautiful. However, just having feet to walk on is certainly a blessing! And more importantly, God says they are beautiful when they bring good news!

The good news Paul is talking about in this scripture is the gospel. The wonderful news of what the Son of God has done for all the world. This news proclaims that though you are a sinner, the Savior, Jesus Christ, has died as your substitute on the cross and will live in you forever through His Holy Spirit. You only need to confess your sin to Him and turn away from it, believing that He died and rose again for you. Then, He will live His life through you, so you too can have beautiful feet to share His good news with others! So please start walking with Him today in your first steps of faith!
