Oh, How Marvelous...Seriously!
In Psalm 51:4, David says, “Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight.”
When confessing sin, it is important to realize that my personal sin is against the Lord. Although it may affect other people, it cost God His very Son. This thought overwhelms me.
Oh, that we would keep short accounts with God, brothers & sisters. Our sins, each one, helped put the nails in Jesus’ hands. Our sin caused Jesus pain, but He chose to forgive us though we deserve death and Hell in payment for our sins. It should cause us to grieve and to praise His name at the same time.
How marvelous! How wonderful!
And our song shall ever be:
Oh, how marvelous! Oh, how wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!
And there you go!
